As part of the ‘Building India Through Sport’ initiative, Sports Coaching Foundation (SCF) supported a government juvenile home for girls (7 years – 20 years) in Kachiguda.

In this regard, SCF developed their playfield by installing two basketball boards and one court each of volleyball, shuttle and tennikoit, which was inaugurated on Friday.

GHMC Corporator from Golnaka, K Padma; Principal of the juvenile home, Lalitha; police inspector PG Reddy along with SCF Founder K Saibaba were present on the occasion.

Saibaba said, “We conducted a sports quiz programme for girls on ‘Indian Women Celebrities’. We were surprised by their ability to read and understand the SCF coaching manuals that we distributed.”

“SCF will strive to conduct sporting classes at the Girls Juvenile Home. To further support this Home, we are urging philanthropists to rise to the occasion and help the girls realise their dreams and aspirations,” said Saibaba, who is also a President of India awardee in Social Change (2015).
