Apollo launches sleep management clinic

Apollo Hospitals announced the launch of a comprehensive sleep management system for outpatients and inpatients, on the occasion of World Sleep Day in Jubilee Hills.

As part of this specialised clinic a multidisciplinary team with expertise of world-class neurology, pulmonology, psychiatry and ENT will test patients. The team is backed by the latest in sleep lab technology and equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, auto modes; oxygen support, to make it a one-stop center for sleep care. The clinic can handle sleep disorders like Parasomnias, narcolepsy, restless leg syndromes and complex central and mixed sleep apnea.

A statement released by Apollo Hospitals on Thursday said, “We are initiating a weekly multidisciplinary clinic where patients with complex sleep disorders will be reviewed by the entire team and a plan for further care developed. Remote monitoring of the care of outstation patients is also planned to enhance the level of support for patients who come from all over the world.”
