In a befitting commemoration of its two decades since formation, the Banjara Hills and Abids-based Lakhotia Institute of Design (LID) is introducing three-year Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) degrees in three different streams, including fashion design, interior design and photography from this academic year.
Stating that they had all the clearances, which also marked new high for the institute, the promoters of the institute Azhar and Ayesha Lakhotiatold reporters here on Thursday that this would open new doors for Intermediate students. They said that opportunities were growing for qualified students in the three happening professions. Equipping the students with appropriate skills development was a focus area of LID, Ayesha pointed out.

Meanwhile, the Group is launching an exclusive Lakhotia Institute of Hospitality and Management. It will cater to hotel management and airhostess training. The one-year diploma comes with placement assurances in India. As a run-up to the course, LID is introducing the concept with a three-month placement oriented program, which will get underway on March 20. Details regarding enrollment can be had from the offices of either of the two centres.
