Paysafe hosted the ‘#CrackTheCode’ at its office at SLN Terminus in the city over the weekend. The event was part of the company’s recruitment drive for its Hyderabad operations and called for software engineers to design, develop and create futuristic FinTech solutions in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Analytics.

Participants presented solutions to solve problems by developing applications using emerging technologies; winners were given away cash prizes worth Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 for the first three places, respectively.

“The idea behind the hackathon was to bring together the best of the programming talents to develop solutions in the FinTech space,” said Rohan Sahu, General Manager at Paysafe India.

“India, which is a growing talent hub for the FinTech industry, will play an important role in strengthening Paysafe’s global delivery capabilities. Through the coding competition, we hope to see some compelling solutions from the participants. Hyderabad has great tech talent with engineers driven to innovate and be pioneering,” he said.

Paysafe is expanding its presence in India by building a team of highly talented engineers in Hyderabad. Talking about the expansion plans, Rohan said, “We plan to scale up our operations in India with major focus on hiring this year.

As a fast-growing FinTech company, we immensely value our employees and work with the belief to provide growth opportunities to each and every employee who can contribute significantly and make a mark.”
