Students of Gurunanak Institute of Technology conducted the popular technical festival “Ignite -2017” in Ibrahimpatnam recently. As part of the event, a group of students created one of the most economical ATVs (All Terrain Vehicle), which features the smallest wheel base in India and has in-house developed shock absorbers made of reinforced steel.

As part of the event, a group of students created one of the most economical ATVs (All Terrain Vehicle), which features the smallest wheel base in India and has in-house developed shock absorbers made of reinforced steel.

Electronic Scientist DLRL-DRDO, B Ramakrishna Rao was present at the event to motivate the students. The event showcased creations like the award winning Go-Kart, Nebula ATV, Automatic Fly Jet Dam, Live Water Recycling Systems, Bike-Expo, Hovercrafts and others.

The event also had entertaining events like flash mob, vintage bike rally, drag race and air show. Speaking on the occasion Vice-Chairman of Gurunanak Institutions G.S Kohli said, “These events are conducted to encourage and enhance the potentials of the students.” Commenting on ‘Nebula’ he said, "This proves that the students’ innovative side is always encouraged at GNIT.”
