Broken gates, dead trees, garbage all around and marshy ponds have become a normal sight in the Jubilee Hills’ parks.

In addition, these places are frequented by vagabonds and local goons indulging in all vices. According to residents, the authorities have not responded to any complaints regarding the matter so far.

The GHMC has a budget of Rs 1,732 crore earmarked under capital expenditure a percentage of which has to be used for parks’ maintenance. However, the recent pictures captured by our lensman Srinivas Setty tell a different story.
