SP Road has a new landmark, a vegetarian one at that. The famous vegetarian caterers, Pankaj Baldev and his son Jai opened a vegetarian restaurant, ‘Hira Panna’ that primarily serves North Indian food, but there is their share of noodles etc that you would not miss in a multicuisine restaurant. In just a few days of opening, the restaurant is buzzing with diners, proving yet again that the Nizami city has its share of vegetarian foodies.

Currently, under the guidance of Jai’s mother – and that means it has the homely touch, Hira Panna is hosting a Gujarati Food Festival till April 3. On the buffet that costs Rs 399, one can taste the popular Gujarati delights like the Dhokla, Paatra with green chutney, Matar nu ghooghras, Kothmir wadi, Kadhi, Daal, Masala khichdi and Undhiyu, Puri with Aam ras and the desserts like Shrikand – and one word that goes for the Gujarati dishes on the buffet – ‘Delicious’.
