Graduation Day at Shadan Institute

The Graduation Day celebrations of two prominent Medical colleges in the State including India’s first Minority Women’s medical college second Graduation Day function of Dr VRK women’s Medical College(DrVRKWMC) and seventh Annual Day of Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), were held in great splendour.

Students at both institutions draped in their graduation cloaks donned their graduation caps, and fervently congratulated each other, even as they bid an emotional farewell to their institution.

Students, parents and the teachers were presented with graduation scrolls by the Dr Sarib Rasool Khan - Managing Director of SIMS, Dr VRK Women’s Medical College, Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences and Ayaan Institute of Medical Sciences.

Addressing the passing out graduates at different ceremonies held at each institution, Secretary Shadan Group of Institutions, Shadan Vizarath Rasool Khan advised the fresh batch of graduating doctors to devote themselves to the service of humanity while upholding the human values of this sacred profession.

She advised them against ‘leaning towards commercial interests’ and exclaimed that true medical service is no less than worship. She congratulated them on their achievement and for living up to their parent’s expectations.
