Child sexual abuse is a major problem in India with majority cases happening right in homes where children face the horrors from their relatives. The global prevalence of child sexual abuse has been estimated at 19.7 per cent in females and 7.9 percent in males. April was first declared as child abuse prevention month in 1983. This year’s theme is ‘Engaging New Voices’ and we take a look at city NGOs involved in the cause
