Run marks Homeopathy Day

As a fitting tribute to the founder of Homeopathy, Dr Samuel Hahnemann, his 262nd birth anniversary was celebrated as ‘World Homeopathy Day’ through a marathon in the city on Monday. The run began from JSPS Goveenment Homoeopathic Medical College and continued up to Hyderabad Public School.

It was flagged off by Health Minister Dr C Laxma Reddy in the presense of MP Chamakura Malla Reddy, MLA NVSS Prabhakar, World Homoeopathy Celebrations Committee Chairman Dr S Venugopala Chary and others. Doctors and students also participated. A health and awareness camp was also conducted after the run to educate about the benefits of homeopathy.
