123 years of Punjab National Bank
A grand celebration marked the 123rd ‘Foundation Day’ of the Punjab National Bank in the city recently. The staff led by Rajeev Puri, DGM Circle Head, Telangana took a procession from Chikkadapally to Aamantran Hotel in Musheerabad as part of the celebration.

Later, five senior customers of the bank were honoured at a ceremony and prizes were given away to the winners of the ‘Digital Banking’ competition.
Addressing the gathering, Puri said that the Bank continues to discharge its social obligations and addresses environmental concerns with added vigour, which include free medical camps, distribute artificial limbs, tree plantation and blood donation camps, besides donations to hospitals and schools.
He said that PNB is the first bank to introduce Core Bank Solutions. “The bank with over 7,000 branches and 10,000 ATMs with a total business more than Rs 10,00,000 crores is rendering services to the people of all walks of life. PNB is the number one bank in giving stand up India Loans amongst all nationalised banks and leading in sanctioning MUDRA Loans also,” he said.
