Appeal for social change echoes on Ambedkar Jayanti

Hundreds of people participated in the Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations at Tank Bund on Friday. While political leaders and private organisations paid their respects through floral tributes to the social reformer, the youth opted for a walk and bike rally waving flags and slogan shouting in expressing their emotions. No matter the medium, the message was one – a unanimous appeal for social change based on Ambedkar’s principles.
