The Managing Director of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), M Dana Kishore has urged to commence trial runs of the Rs 1,900 crore ‘HUDCO Aided Water Supply Improvement & Distribution Network’ project as soon as possible.

The Managing Director of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), M Dana Kishore has urged to commence trial runs of the Rs 1,900 crore ‘HUDCO Aided Water Supply Improvement & Distribution Network’ project as soon as possible.

The MD was reviewing the progress of the works under the project for peripheral municipal circles at the Board office in Khairatabad on Thursday. Consequently, the trial run would start in a day or two in Gopannapally, Nallagandla, HUDA Miyapur, KPHB Ph IV, Autonagar, Shapurnagar reservoirs.

The MD also instructed to expedite and complete other reservoirs, Inlet, Outlet works of reservoirs, laying of the distribution lines, road restoration work as per time schedules.

“They should ensure that precautionary measures were taken, necessary barricading, public information boards be put up at work sites besides refilling, compacting of earth over dug up roads be taken up simultaneously to avoid inconvenience to public,” he said.

Among others who attended the meeting include M Satyanarayana, Executive Director; M Yellaswamy, Director (Projects-1); D Sridhar Babu, Director (Revenue/Project-2); CGMs (Engg.), GMs (Engg.), Projects Wing, HMWSSB and implementing agencies.
