Two girls from MS Junior College, Sana Fatima and Mansha secured the State second position in the Intermediate Second Year Examinations by securing 990 out of 1000 marks in BPC stream.

The announcement came from the institution on Sunday when the IPE 2017 results were declared. “Forty-six students scored 98 per cent and above in the second year Intermediate Public Exam,” said the principal.

Fatima and Mansha were awarded rupees one lakh each under the APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship on behalf of the MS Education Academy for their feat.

MSians fared well in all streams of Intermediate with Maleeha Maheen scoring 988 out of 1000 marks in MPC to claim her position in state top five ranks. Similarly, Almas Taliya scored 972 out of 1000 marks in MEC and Tahniyath Khatoon scored 958 out of 1000 marks in CEC to claim top honours at MS.
