Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation staged a play titled ‘Iss Kambakht Sathe Ka Kya Karein’, at Ravindra Bharathi over the weekend. Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub Khan and Rasika Agashe were the lead characters in the play.
Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation staged a play titled ‘Iss Kambakht Sathe Ka Kya Karein’, at Ravindra Bharathi over the weekend. Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub Khan and Rasika Agashe were the lead characters in the play. ‘Iss Kambakht Sathe Ka Kya Karein’ is an adaptation of a Marathi play ‘Sathecha Kay Karaycha’ written by playwright Rajiv Naik and it was translated into Hindi by Jyoti Subhash.
Directed by Rasika Agashe, the play revolves around the tender relationship between a husband (Abhay) and his wife (Salma). Abhay is an ad-filmmaker and Salma is a lecturer in a college. The couple faces different tribulations in their professional lives. Abhay always takes it seriously and Salma does not worry about anything.
Abhay always thinks that his colleague Sathe does not deserve the recognition that he gets. Whereas Salma loves her work and does not care about her colleague's promotions, etc. At the end of the play, both build up a strong trust in the relationship and create a good companionship. The play is a perfect example of how people get jealous about others. The play also tries to depict that positive attitude can make things better.
