Outdoor summer camp from April 26

Outlife is organising a five-day "Outdoor & Adventure Summer Camp" for children in the age group of eight to 15 years, at Outlife Campsite in Keesaragutta from April 26.

The activities covered in the summer camp are knots and lashing; tent pitching and trenching; outdoor skills - fire, water, shelter, food; star gazing; sport climbing and rappelling; river crossing; outdoor cooking; map reading and navigation; treasure hunt and team games.

A statement from Diyanat Ali, Founder of GHAC said, “The camp will be in a serene natural setting surrounded by forest area with access to rocks, hills, ponds with typical deccan flora. Special care is being taken to protect the kids from the impact of heat by housing them in makeshift cool huts, specially created with desert coolers.”
