Teachers Sports Meet-2007 was organised on a grand scale at Vijaya High School, here on Friday. The meet was intended to revitalise the spirit of teachers, the school management said. Running race, throw ball, tug-of-war, brisk walk etc competitions were held for the teachers.

Teachers, irrespective of their age participated in this event with great zeal. Speaking on the occasion, the correspondent of the school Rajeshwar said that sports and games are very useful for people of any age. He appreciated the teachers who took part in the event. Veena, Head Mistress Padmavathi and others participated in the event.
