Many people visiting the gardens are using the toy train but the railway station is a mess. The walls and platforms have cracks and leakages making it dangerous for children.
The railway building requires strengthening of slabs, ceiling repair and a new paint job. A HMDA official said, “We have called for tenders and once the tender is finalised the repair work for the railway station in NTR Garden will be done and would be completed within one month. The repair work will not disturb the visitors.”
