The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation is organising 76 blood donation camps across the country on April 23 and 24 as they celebrate the day as Manav Ekta Divas (Human Unity Day) to commemorate the sacrifice of Baba Gurbachan Singh.

The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation is organising 76 blood donation camps across the country on April 23 and 24 as they celebrate the day as Manav Ekta Divas (Human Unity Day) to commemorate the sacrifice of Baba Gurbachan Singh. The Mission is also paying tributes to hundreds of devotees who sacrificed their lives for love, truth, peace and unity.

The series of blood donation camps were inaugurated in Delhi by Nirankari Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Maharaj. In Hyderabad, the camp was inaugurated by Mohini Ahuja, Zonal Incharge AP and TS, and delegates from the Red Cross Society at Sant Nirankari Bhavan, Lakdikapul.

A motor bike rally with about 70 vehicles and 140 members of the Sewa Dal and other devotees went around various parts of city to create awareness about this noble cause among citizens.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohini Ahuja said, “The Blood Donation Camp marks Manav Ekta Divas and is held to spread the message of universal peace and brotherhood.” She added, "Over 450 People came forward to donate blood; she thanked people for taking part in blood donation drive".
Besides Delhi, 11 blood donation camps will be organised each in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, six in Rajasthan, five each in Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh, four each in Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Bihar; three each in Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Jharkhand, two in Jammu and Kashmir, and one each in Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Assam, Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
