A noble gesture
City-based U-16 tennis player, Y Sai Dedeepya, who is ranked No 2 in AITA, was sponsored by Vijaya Bank with rupees five lakh as part of their CSR initiative over the weekend.

Dedeepya, who is also a Fed Cup player, was supported for her coaching and infrastructure. Speaking at the event, Executive Director of Vijaya Bank BS Ramarao said, “We are confident that this financial support from the bank will boost her morale and enable her to achieve success for the nation.”
Thanking the bank, the young tennis player said, “I will give my best and bring a good name for the nation.” Advisor to government, Dr K V Ramanachary along with Vijaya Bank members, MD of Sports Authority of Telangana, Dinakar Babu and others were present.
