YouWeCan, Sunrisers Hyderabad bring joy to children with cancer

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), in collaboration with the Sun Foundation and Yuvraj Singh’s ‘YouWeCan’ Foundation, visited St Jude India Child Care Centre in Hyderabad on Friday, where they spent time with children who are fighting cancer.

Yuvraj Singh, since his own brush with cancer, has been taking time out of his schedule to raise awareness about the different kinds of cancer, tests and treatments available.

The teammates from SRH who accompanied Yuvraj included VVS Laxman, Ashish Nehra, Tom Moody, Rashid Khan, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Ben Cutting.

Speaking on the visit, Yuvraj said, “It’s my constant effort to find the time for things that really matter. The St Judes Centre in Hyderabad is doing exemplary work for children suffering from cancer, a cause very close to my heart.

I believe it is important to keep instilling the spirit of live, dare and inspire, amongst these young and spirited fighters. I am glad that even my team members from Sunrisers Hyderabad could come with me today and extend their support in making these children’s day special.”
