Former bureaucrat and artist Chandana Khan is exhibiting her paintings as part a solo show titled ‘Kaleidoscope’ at Pegasus Art Gallery. The exhibition was inaugurated by senior journalist Kingshuk Nag.

Speaking about her show she shares, “A total of 50 paintings are on display at the show. I have been experimenting on canvas for many years and I used mediums such as mix medium colours, paper and used 3D effects, watercolours texture technique, and dry pastels and blocks to make leaf on the paintings.”

“My works are more about realism, nature, Buddha and freedom. That is how I view myself as a visual artist. I always choose Buddha because I have a very strong faith in him, for me, he is a different spiritual world, which is full of joy.”

“I chose this title because it exposes light everywhere and so in the same way my paintings have different angles and they do not have the same theme. It has myriad moods and expressions. In my paintings, one can see the purity, affection and sense of freedom,” she adds.
