A style and steps fusion at Swaero
It was all fun and masti at ‘Swaero Fusion’, the summer samurai valedictory function at Telugu Lalitha Kala Thoranam in Nampally.
It was all fun and masti at ‘Swaero Fusion’, the summer samurai valedictory function at Telugu Lalitha Kala Thoranam in Nampally. Organised by the Telangana Social and Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Societies (TSWREIS and TTWREIS), the event saw colourful ensemble performances in which the children danced with gusto.
Congratulating the children, Minister for Scheduled Caste Development, G Jagadish Reddy said, “When children finish school, they should be confident to face the society. All subsidies are temporary, but the best subsidies are quality education.”
Later, awards were presented to the State level ‘Best Teachers’, student SR Sankaran Fellows, Green Gurus and Summer Samurai campers in which Vanaja recieved the ‘Best Principal’ honour.
Upto 30 camps involving 30,000 students were conducted across 78 centres in the State this year. Dr RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary of TSWREIS and TTWREIS, Mahesh Dutt Ekka, Secretary of Tribal Welfare and P Karunakar, Director of Scheduled Caste Development Department, attended.
