While most of the Old City showed signs of water logging on Wednesday morning, the hellish aftermath in the New City was overwhelming to say the least. Tress, billboards and flexes lay uprooted across Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Madhapur, Begumpet, Trimulgherry and Necklace Road.
Meanwhile, the hail broke through the roof at the Dewara Konda Basthi at Road No 3, Banjara Hills wreaking havoc to life and property. Even as the GHMC swung into action IMD officials warned that the weather would continue to be the same for the next 36 hours.
