In a bid to encourage art works of students, Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (TSWREIS) recently organised a 15-day art camp ‘Swaero-2017’, at State Art Gallery, Madhapur.

In a bid to encourage art works of students, Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (TSWREIS) recently organised a 15-day art camp ‘Swaero-2017’, at State Art Gallery, Madhapur.

As a part of this initiative, around 340 school children from all over Telangana had given training in various art mediums. The art camp began on April 25 and concluded on May 9.

On the final day, many students showcased their skills by drawing paintings on canvas. Students between 6-9th standards participated in the art camp. A total of 100 paintings were displayed during the art camp.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, chairman TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission). After the art show, certificates were distributed to students.

Dr K Lakshmi, Director, State Art Gallery, Vani Devi, Principal SV College of Fine Arts, Stanley Suresh, Faculty JNTU and RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary, TSWREIS attended the event.
