Pawan, Saikrishna clinch honours

N Sai Pawan of Ramadevi Public school won the junior title in the 132nd Brilliant Trophy Chess tournament at Brilliant Grammar High School in Dilsukhnagar. Owais Md and Hima Surya finished second and third, respectively.

Meanwhile, the open category winner was S Saikrishna of Karimnagar. Premraj finished second best in the decisive tie-breaker while Sai Baswanth ended up third. Later, Major KA Shiva Prasad, General Secretary of Telangana State Chess Association gave away the prizes.
