TVS launched the Apache RTR 200 4V last year with two engine options, the carburetted and FI versions. The company had also offered ABS as an option. But variants with FI and ABS have not yet reached showrooms and TVS also hasn’t commented anything with regards to this.

Powering the Apache 200 (carburetted engine) is a 197.75cc single-cylinder oil-cooled powerplant that produces 20.05 HP and 18.1 Nm of torque while the FI powered engine makes a slightly higher power at 21 HP. This motor comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

TVS, however, is focused on launching the Akula 310 (Apache RR 310S) in India. We expect it to launch by this July 2017. The motorcycle is expected to be priced around the Rs. 2 lakh mark.
