A book that describes details of the dialogue between the government and the Nizam of Hyderabad circa 1948 will release at Somajiguda Press Club on Saturday. The book, ‘Hyderabad 1948; an avoidable invasion’ is written by Syed Ali Hashmi and will be released by Kingshuk Nag at 4pm.
A book that describes details of the dialogue between the government and the Nizam of Hyderabad circa 1948 will release at Somajiguda Press Club on Saturday. The book, ‘Hyderabad 1948; an avoidable invasion’ is written by Syed Ali Hashmi and will be released by Kingshuk Nag at 4pm.
The release is held under the aegis of Society for Promotion of Tolerance (SPoT). It describes the economic sanctions imposed by India and the treacherous role played by the persons holding key positions in the Nizam’s state. The book also highlights the saga of the destruction of the distinct culture of Hyderabad and the events documented by Sunderlal Committee in its report.
Captain Panduranga Reddy, will present the review on the book. Asif Pasha, Former Minister for Law (AP) and President, SPoT will be present. Syed Inamur Rahman Ghayur, Vice-President will introduce while Dr Syed Yaseen Hashmi, General Secretary of the Society will welcome and propose vote of thanks.
