Kids own dino island

There's a lovable connection children have with dinosaurs. Themed centres for kids are fast becoming a popular concept in the city and the latest to join this is Plabo Hyderabad's 'Dino Island'. With an objective to inspire children to play, learn, imagine and create, Plabo launched the first ever interactive dinosaur exhibit at its premises in Gachibowli on Sunday.

Kids can meet these giant predators from the Jurassic period and can observe how they built their nests, how they feed and go about their day. What's more? Children can ride their favourite dinosaur as well. In addition, there's an interactive game ‘Escape’ where kids have to jump start a getaway jeep to escape from a T-Rex within two minutes.

The fun is doubled with the junior paeleontologist where kids can dig up dino fossils and piece them together. There is also a big dinosaur egg and children can take a selfie with it. “Plabo is an entertainment and edutainment zone for kids. We also have some wondrous places that are fully loaded with fun, imagination and creativity,” said Deepthi, owner, Plabo Hyderabad.

“We inspire children to play, learn, imagine and create together. We launched this ‘Dino Island’ to provide more fun to kids. This exhibit helps kids to understand how Dinosaurs shout, feed and behave,” she said. “We have seen Dinosaurs in movies only. The dinosaurs here looks like real ones and children will enjoy with them. Children can feel that they are in the different world by entering into it,” said Manasa, who came with her daughter to watch the ‘Dino Island’.
