Tamron Lenses organised a fashion and food photography workshop at Minerva Grand, Secunderabad on Saturday and Sunday. Many students, amateur and senior photographers from the city were part of the event. Celebrity photographer, Shiresh R Karrale explained many aspects of photography like lighting, shadows, colours, patterns and shapes. “One has to observe many things and visualise them before capturing them on camera,” he said.

Venkatesh, Assistant manager of Tamron, South Indian said, “The aim of oraganising this workshop let photographers know that Tamrom have superior quality lenses, with a wide range. This was the first of its kind workshop on food photography In Telangana and Andhra.” Participant had a practical exposure on lighting. They were allowed to use the lighting equipment to understand lighting’s importance. The first day was dedicated to fashion photography while the second concentrated on food.

“Fashion photography is difficult. When we get a chance like this we should never miss and every minute of the session was worth,” said Sneha, a Research scholar in Journalism. “The exhibition was good and they are available for the reasonable prices,” said Raja Mannaram, Vice President of Telangana Photography Association.

Many participants attended the workshop to get to know more about lighting techniques. Ashrith, a student said, “Lighting techniques, composition and visualization in photography are the main reasons I have come to attend this session.”
