Hyderabad Globe Football Academy win Little Stars Cup

A solitary second half goal by Aman was more than enough for Hyderabad Globe Football Academy to romp home and annex the Little Stars Cup in the Under-13 football tournament, conducted by Hyderabad Globe Football Club, at Khursheed Jah Playground.

They defeated Dar Ul Shifa Playground 1-0 in the finals. Although, both tried to gain the upper hand, neither side could make any inroads into the opposition camps and the tie went goal-less at the break.

The second half-saw hectic activity as both were racing against time to net the winner, which happened when HGFA striker Aman grabbed the ball that came via a lovely pass from player of the tournament Syed Owaisuddin to score the championship winner.

Later, Legislator Syed Ahmed Pasha Qadri gave away the prizes in the presence of Corporator Syed Mahmood Qadri and Syed Hyder Ali, Chairman of Jasarat Group of Institutions.

Dastagir Khan, Secretary of Saidabad Football Club, Syed Zakir Hussain, an NRI engineer, Khalid Bin Mazi and Syed Khaliduddin chief promoter of Hyderabad Globe Football Club were present on the occasion.

Best Defender: Wajahat (Dar Ul Shifa); Best scorer: Imran Abbas (Dar Ul Shifa);
Best Midfielder: Idris Ulkah Khan (Hyd Globe Academy);
Best Striker: Syed Humza Ali (Hyd Globe Academy);
Player of the tournament: Syed Owaisuddin.
