Self Assessment form on sanitation in circles
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) after achieving 22nd rank in Swachh Survekshan 2017 and First amongst the traditionally known Megacities of India, has become more motivated and thereafter, have held a series of meetings on how to better the Sanitation and image of the City.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) after achieving 22nd rank in Swachh Survekshan 2017 and First amongst the traditionally known Megacities of India, has become more motivated and thereafter, have held a series of meetings on how to better the Sanitation and image of the City.
In order to ensure holistic improvement of sanitation services in the city the GHMC has developed a Self Assessment Form for the Circles to verify their performance status. A List of four categories which includes Segregation, Collection and Transportation of waste, Civic Engagement and Safety, Effective Monitoring in Sanitation/Transport and Toilets and has given 51 parameters at a total of 500 marks.
All the Circles are asked to prepare their Self Assessment and submit it by June 2 to the head office, to enable the same and thereby ranking them for June 5 on World Environment Day. The Self Assessment Form is to be submitted every month by every circle which will indicate their level of sanitation and also motivate them to perform better.
