‘Marriages are made in Heaven’ is a popular saying. The trend of marriages is changing now in the country and most are happening through matrimony sites. The evolution of technology is also one of the reasons for people to choose their life partners at fingertips.

Gorav Aggarwal, founder of LoveVivah.com, who launched their services recently in the city, shares about the marriage system in India and the recent changes that took place in the matrimonial industry.

“In the last few years, more urban people have chosen matrimonial platforms to select their life partners compared to rural people. Due to lack of awareness and internet options rural people lag behind urban people in this respect.

But the scenario has been changing in recent times due to the technology development and rural people are also consulting matrimonial platforms equally with others. We have recently started our services in Southern India and we primarily focus on states like Andhra, Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka,” said Gorav.

Many people, particularly women, fear about fake profiles in the matrimony sites. Reacting to it, Gorav says, “Our prime focus is building awareness around the biggest key point in the matrimonial industry ‘Getting genuine profiles’ and LoveVivah is an organisation that diligently offers solutions that minimises the woes of matchmaking such as fraud or fake profiles.

To make matrimonial process trustworthy and reliable, we recently collaborated with Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), committed to serving prospective brides and grooms.” He also said that LoveVivah is the first and only matrimony site in India that is providing the service of Aadhaar link to the profiles to prevent fraudulent profiles.

“We have more than five lakh users now. We are user-friendly and provide security of data and we have great authentication process (linked with Aadhaar) compared to other matrimonial sites. We have received great response from all over the country including Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Maneka Gandhi also appreciated our work,” he shares.

Gorav also said that his company recruits local people in South India to understand the local circumstances and it also helps local people to get some jobs. Gorav further said that he is also planning to launch their services in the US, Canada and Europe countries in near future.
