Synchrony Financial(SF) has been awarded the prestigious ‘Telangana State Formation Day Award’ for the year 2017 from the Government of Telangana, Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications.
Synchrony Financial(SF) has been awarded the prestigious ‘Telangana State Formation Day Award’ for the year 2017 from the Government of Telangana, Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications. SF has received the award in recognition for their contribution towards providing employment and equal growth opportunities for people with disabilities.
The award was received by Faisal Uddin, Vice President and Business Leader, India along with KM Cherian, Vice President , Customer Service SF from KT Rama Rao, Minister of Information and Technology (IT), Municipal Administration, Urban Development (MAUD) NRI Affairs Government of Telangana and Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of Industries and Commerce (I and C) in the presence of other dignitaries and guests.
SF works to improve the communities where it does business through its Corporate Citizenship platform, through seven employee Diversity and Inclusion networks, including the People with Disabilities Network (PDN). The PDN aspires to establish SF as an employer of choice. SF is proud to employ a number of people with disabilities. SF at present employs 94 people with disability at the site.
