The Indigenous Dance Showcase

Shilparamam in association with South Zone Cultural Center, Thanjavur recently organised various cultural programs as a part of Telangana Formation Day Celebrations at its premises.

The cultural activities included the riveting Bharatanatyam performance by students of Dr Suparna Venkatesh of Sai Arts International.

Later, various indigenous dances like ‘Oggu Dolu’ by Venkateswara Rao troupe, ‘Gond and Gussadi’ by Dr Mallesh group, ‘Mathuri’ dance by Saraswathi group, ‘Dappu’ dance by Andasi Narayana and ‘Lambadi’ dance by Venkata Laxmi were performed.
