GHMC appreciates Meenakshi Estate Colony
Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan and GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy handed over a certificate of appreciation to the association members of Meenakshi Estate Colony in Jeedimetla, at GHMC office on Friday for taking up various developmental activities in the colony.Â

The plants on either side of the roads in the colony are attracting the attention of people. An e-library has been set up. Awareness programmes have been organised on cleanliness and segregation of dry and wet wastes. As a result one can’t see waste lying on the roads in the colony.
GHMC commissioner visited the colony in February this year. He felt happy after learning how the waste was being managed. The big park in the colony is the testimony of the colony. The park is crowded in the mornings and evenings. All the inner roads in the colony are bt roads.
