A city-based start-up Bilwam India Group has introduced the mobile based taxi service “Cab Indians” that boasts of no surge pricing in its fare policy.

Deputy Chief Minister Md Mahmood Ali launched the app at a prominent hotel in the city over the weekend in the presence of company officials.

“This new app will offer fixed fares without surge pricing and allow cab drivers to pick passengers directly from the road outside high traffic areas like offices, malls and residential complexes,” said Naresh Mitta, founder of the app.

“Drivers would now be able to decide on the tariff, quality and thereby provide the people of Hyderabad safe and reliable rides,” he said.

“What differentiates other cab aggregators from us is how we consider our relationship with our drivers. We are the only company that doesn’t pay drivers based on a percentage, instead we have prepaid plans for them making sure they earn more spend less and provide assured business to them,” he added.

The app offers ‘Cloud Based Assistance’ that is available 24/7 wherein one can enquire, lodge a complaint if any and also get queries solved on the go.

“If you are an employer, you would be happy to know our newest addition, which is the corporate tie-ups that’ll be rolling-out soon with an amazing fleet of over 1,000 cabs,” said Mitta. The fares for the cabs start at Rs 40.
