Smiles all the way
Hyderabad Arts Festival (HAF) in association with Ohri’s Group organised an event ‘HAF Smiles’ in the city over the weekend at Hotel Basheera, Secunderabad.
Hyderabad Arts Festival (HAF) in association with Ohri’s Group organised an event ‘HAF Smiles’ in the city over the weekend at Hotel Basheera, Secunderabad.
‘HAF Smiles’ is an annual charity programme of Hyderabad Arts Festival, where more than 300 underprivileged children in various orphanages of the city were given a royal treatment and fed sumptuously. The event is organised as a part of the fifth edition of the HAF.
The event witnessed many games, interactive engagement, food and entertainment for children from morning to evening. In the end, a special ‘Goodie Bag’ (contains personal, hygiene and educational products) given to children.
Earlier in the morning, a free medical checkup for kids conducted by the team of doctors from Aaditya Hospital and health card reports were distributed. The health cards contain details of various measurements like height, weight, BMI, etc.
Following the health camp, a drawing and colouring competition was conducted by Tejdeep Kaur Menon, DGP-Special Protection Force, Telangana. Tejdeep shared various techniques of drawing with children and distributed prizes after the competition.
Singer Krishna Chaitanya also participated in the programme and rendered various Telugu hits for the kids. The one-day activity brings smiles on kids of various orphanages of the city.
