Kantar’s Global Delivery Centre in Hyderabad, as part of its corporate social responsibility, has adopted Government Primary School in Puppalaguda near Lanco Hills, Hyderabad. The Hyderabad employees of the Kantar’s Global Delivery Centre contributed to the initiative by pooling up funds in order to revamp the facilities like toilets, sanitation infrastructure, purified drinking water and computer lab. Puppalaguda Mandal President along with Kantar India Head Shameel Sharma inaugurated the programme on Friday.

On the occasion of the new academic year, Kantar India has bags and book to children in Puppalaguda government school premises. The school with more than 150 children, which needed attention on several aspects from school infrastructure to sanitation infrastructure, has been revamped on various fronts.

Puppalaguda government Primary School in Puppalaguda was taken over by Kantar this year after having noticed the appalling situation with no proper basic amenities like lack of drinking water facilities, unhygienic toilets, and garbage being thrown into the school premises by neighbouring residents. The employees close to 100, pooled in resources and contributed to the initiative, a rare and warm gesture appreciated by one and all.

Kantar got the toilets demolished and reconstructed, separately for boys and girls. The entire area has been cleaned up with proper tiles’ flooring. Kantar has also installed a purified drinking water facility and revamped the computer lab facility.

Kantar employees also participated in the event, where children had fun time performing various cultural and other programmes. School students, staff and villagers thanked Kantar and its employees and interacted with them.
