The tournament was conducted by sports promoter and Vice-President of Amberpet Play Ground (APG) S Srikanth Goud, In an exciting final at APG, HMV Commandoes, representing HMV Cricket Academy defeated Global Indian International School (Global Stars) by four wickets.
After dismissing Global Stars for 102 in 18.2 overs, the eventual titlist achieved the target with four wickets and 15 balls to spare. The standout performance came from the blade of Jaidev, whose 49, however, went for a losing cause.
Later, Bholu Kishan, TPCC General Secretary, gave away the prizes. Khaja Fakruuddin, TPCC Minority Cell President, Gyaneshwar Goud, Srikanth, Goud and Rajnikanth Goud, all from APG, were present on the occasion in addition to coaches of various teams.
Brief scores-Final: Global Stars 102 in 18.2 overs (Jaidev 49, Jagadeesh 17, Anirudh 3/10, Kush 2/10) lost to HMV Commandoes 103 for six wickets in 17.3 overs (Vishnu 39, Koushik 27, Harish 2/11, Vishnu 2/19).
