Young author and novelist Durjoy Datta is quite popular amongst the young generation, as he grabs his readers’ attention with his simple and fascinating love stories.. Durjoy was in Hyderabad to promote his latest book, ‘The Boy Who Loved’, which is all about drama, religion, death, romance, despair and love.
During the interactive session held at Landmark store, he answered all the questions posed by his readers in a very humorous way thoroughly entertaining his fans. It was fan fare in full forces as the young readers expressed their love for him, offered him gifts and read poems.
During the event he shared his view on his first five books, “I personally didn’t like those novels because every book was having similar kind of plot. But readers really loved them and appreciated my works.”
“The Boy Who Loved” is the story of a school going boy called Raghu Ganguly, who lives in Delhi with his family and has his fears and belief system that affect his life. The book charts the story of the boy from 16 years of age to 30. The book is enjoying good reviews. “Readers will get to know in December when the second part will be published,” he declared.
