Pragati SBH Ladies Club donated two Solar Street Lights to the Home for the Aged, run by Little Sisters of the Poor, In the city.
Pragati SBH Ladies Club donated two Solar Street Lights to the Home for the Aged, run by Little Sisters of the Poor, In the city.
In this Home for the Aged, which has been in existence since 1903 and aged poor of all castes, creed and religion are being provided food, clothing, shelter and medical care at free of cost till the end of their lives by the Little Sisters of the Poor, who upon the death of the residents, also perform their last rites as per the religious faith of the residents be it Hindu, Muslim, Christian etc.
Currently there are around 80 residents in this Home for the Aged and are in need of yet another Solar Street and charity by way of food, clothing and medicines. Donations are exempt under Section 80G of the IT Act 1961.
