A regular on the Iftaar menus in the city since the 1950s, order analysis from Swiggy shows that Haleem orders on food ordering delivery platform has been increasing year-on-year. Orders for Haleem (on Swiggy) in the first week of Ramzan 2017 grew five-fold that of 2016.
Swiggy witnessed the highest demand in Banjara Hills, followed by Nallakunta, Vidyanagar, Begumpet, Himayath Nagar and Gachibowli. Compared to last year, the maximum growth in orders was in Nallakunta, followed by Begumpet. Banjara hills which had the fifth highest orders last year rose to number one this year.
