Ranga Reddy District joins the run
The Olympic Day Run 2017 in Ranga Reddy District started at 7.30 am from the following four places and culminated at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium at 8.30 am on June 22.
The Olympic Day Run 2017 in Ranga Reddy District started at 7.30 am from the following four places and culminated at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium at 8.30 am on June 22.
1. Dilsukhnagar Saibaba Temple flagged off at 7.30 am by Dr SR Prem Raj, General Secretary, Olympic Association of Telangana and K Maheshwar, General Secretary of Gymnastic Association of Telangna, Ganesh, and Raju. Torch Bearer was K Priyanka Sagar, International Gymnast player. Nearly 1000 School children of Pulla Reddy Memorial School participated in the Run. The Run was culminated at 8.30 am at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium.
2. Kothapet flagged off at 7.45 am by Anitha Dayakar Reddy, Area Corporator, Dayakar Reddy, Pratap Jadav, Jt Secretary of Gymnastics Association of Ranga Reddy District, and M Venkatesh, PET. Nearly 800 School Children of Lotus Lap Public School, Eten Temple High School, Govt. Upper Primary and High School, ZPHS, Nagole, Central Public School, Bommanaganti, Kothapet and Vidyanjali High School participated. The Run culminated at 8.45 am at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium.

LB Ngar X Roads flagged off at 8.00 am by Y Venkateshwar Rao, District Youth and Sports Officer, Ranga Reddy District, Sri Satyanarayana Rao, Advisor for Olympic Association of Telangana, Retd DSP, Srinivasa Naidu, Convenor, Olympic Day Run 2017 and Secretary, Telangana State Kho-kho Association, Sreevasu Sudagani, Secretary, Squash Association of Telangana, Chandrashekar Reddy, President, PETs Association, Ranga Reddy District, Shivaram and G Jagadeeshwar Reddy. Nearly 1000 school children of ZPHS, Bahadurguda, LB Nagar and Triveni Public School, Champapet. The Run culminated at 8.40 am at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium.
4. Nagloe – from Kamineni Hospital flagged off at 7.40 am by Prakash Raj, Vice-President, Olympic Association of Telangana, M Balaraj, Chairman, Olympic Day Run 2017 and Vice-President of GAT, M Ramkoteshwar Rao, Vice-Chairman, Olympic Association of Telangana, and Sri Sanjay Singh, Co-Convenor. Nearly 700 school children of ZPHS, Nagalore and all sports players from Saroornagar Indoor Stadium participated. The Run culminated at 8.40 am at Saroornagar Stadium.
The Run was followed by Valedictory Function at 9.00 a.m. at the Stadium. The Chief Guests of the function were Ms. Anitha Dayakar Reddy, Corporator and Dr. S.R. Prem Raj, General Secretary, Olympic Association of Telangana. All Coaches of Saroornagar Stadium and SATS, All Secretaries of various Associations in Ranga Reddy District/State have participated.
