As quoted by the Chef, “Each dish is a story, some from a sleepy by-lane of Amritsar while others are from a Patiala bus stop. Try them and be transcended to Punjab in its fullest in many a nostalgic and exciting ways!”

Highlights of the New Menu

For the non-vegetarians, there are mouth-watering delicacies like the Tawa Chicken Chaamp made with flattened baby chicken marinated with home-made spices, finished on a tawa; Lawrence Raod ki Tikki which is minced mutton tikki with chana dal and spices, cooked on tawa, served with yogurt, saunth chutney and green chutney; Bharwan Omelette which is an egg omelette filled with a choice of chilli chicken or chilli paneer, served with garlic naan; Macchi di Tikki which is minced fish tikki with onion, green chilli, coriander and spices, finished on tawa; Kadhi Chicken made with chicken joints cooked in a special “Punjabi kadhi” gravy. Burni Mutton and Fish Tikka are also among the exciting Dhaba favourites from up north that have been newly added to the menu.

For the vegetarians there is the newly introduced delicious Tandoori Bhuni Sabzi made with yogurt marinated vegetables with hint of ajwain, cooked in tandoor; Tandoori Annannaas made with sweet and sour marinated chunks of pineapple cooked in tandoor; Gobhi Nutri made with cauliflower and soya bean nutrella chunks cooked simmered in mild spicy gravy; Nutri Saag Paneer made with soya bean nutrella, paneer and hint of spinach cooked Punjabi style; Aloo Bhain Masalawhich is baby potatoes and lotus stem tossed with homemade spices; Tawa Bhindi Masala made with lady fingers tossed with onion, tomato and tangy spices; Tawa Paneer made with paneer cubes, tossed with onion, tomato, red chilli flakes and yogurt cooked on tawa, tak a tak style; Khade Masaleka Paneer Tikkaand Tiffin Paneer are also a few new additions to the menu.
On a sweet note is the Dhaba da Meetha, which is a unique layered combination of vanilla ice cream, shahitukda and mini gulabjamun with saffron rabri.
