The art of storytelling lends numerous benefits to children; development of feelings and emotions, learning about a variety of cultures and lends the art of effective listening. In its third year the initiative gives children a chance to take in a robust whiff of the mountains and meet author Ruskin Bond at his residence in Landour, Mussoorie to experience the magic of reading.

Children were judged by renowned authors who are a part of the panel. With multiple titles in partnership with Scholastic books for the activity, participating kids could select any one of the titles, from which they read out a story on the activity day, to other children.
