City-based model, Akshay Neelakantam bagged the prestigious ‘Dellywood Mr India 2017’ title on June 30 in Mumbai. In this regard, Akshay met Minister for Cinematography, Talasani Srinivas Yadav in the city on Monday. The minister congratulated Akshay for making Hyderabad proud.

The competition witnessed a close contest between 100 men, and it was the nuance of Akshay that helped him bag the coveted title. Commenting on his success, Akshay said, “It was a tight contest among the best to win the title. I am extremely passionate when it comes to fitness as I feel that a fit body represents a calm mind.”
Akshay studied at the Little Flower High School and completed his engineering from the Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science & Technology. He finished his master’s in Business Administration from the Amity Business School, Delhi. The youngster is keen to make a career in film and plans to foray into Tollywood.
