Dr Reddy’s Redibike Powered by Cykul is India’s largest public cycle-sharing programme and with this new spot on the network at DLF it is growing even stronger. Redibike aims to promote a healthier and an environmentally-conscious commute option for employees in the area that is wresting to cope up with increasing congestion and pollution due to vehicular traffic.

Redibike station was inaugurated by Sobhana KSRao, IFS, Development Commissioner,SEZ in the presence of Srinivas Rao, Chief Operating Officer, HYSEA, Bharani, President, Cyberabad Security Council, NC Somaiah, Vice President, Operations, South, DLF Cybercity and VenuGoud, GM – Operations, DLF Cybercity.

Speaking at the inauguration of Redibike station,NC Somaiah, Vice President, Operations, South, DLF Cybercitysaid “DLF believes and commits to the sustainable way of creating a great workplace. The launch of Redibike Station marks the start of a very exciting partnership between DLF and Cykul that is oriented towards providing last mile connectivity as well as eco-friendly travel options between transit stops and employment hubs.

Cycling is one common answer to our fast-paced work culture and rising issues of climate change, escalating obesity, increasing traffic congestion, and our little connection with nature.” The Redibike Station at DLF Cyber City opened with a fleet of 50 robust and easy to ride cycles that are available for people who work in the companies with offices in DLF.

The station can be accessed through doors that can be locked and unlocked using the smart-cards, apps, or bio-metrics. People can use these cycles to move between campuses, or to cover the last mile service between transit stops and employment hubs. With cycles located across the designated network at secure and easy to access points, Redibike offers a convenient and comfortable ride.

Using the most up-to-date cycle sharing technology available, users will be able to purchase monthly passes online at RediBike.in or via a Mobile app. The user will be issued a Redibike smart card only after a thorough verification. The system will also use efficient redistribution to ensure smooth operations and adoption amongst the Cyberabad commuters. The charges for using the cycle facility fixed at RS 375 per month and it will remain in operation from 6am till 10pm on week days.
