In a welcome move, TiE Hyderabad launchedthe Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) programme for school students of grade 9-12 on Friday. As part of the programme, workshopswill be conducted to nurture young minds and encourage them to be entrepreneurs. In this regard, Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, ITE&C Department launched the poster in the city.

In this regard, Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, ITE&C Department launched the poster in the city.

Announcing the details Pradeep Mittal, President TiE Hyderabad said, “If we want to see more entrepreneurship creation and witness true economic impact, we need to support schools and help their students engage with the business community in entrepreneurial education in a sustainable manner. TYE’s business education initiative is a step in this direction to inspire young minds to be entrepreneurs through mentor-based workshops by established industry leaders, acknowledged for their innovation, leadership skills, creativity and self-confidence.”

Welcoming the move to start the TYE initiative by TiE Hyderabad in the city at the school level, Ranjan commented, “There is a strong need to encourage job creators and catch them early, citing examples of many of the successful entrepreneurs who had started off at a very young age. The important point here is TYE is starting right at the school level and will go on to support them as they grow up to become entrepreneurs in the future.”

Sharing his thoughts about TYE idea Venkatesh Narasimhan , Co-Chair TYE and Sr VP, Red Pine Signals said, “TYE through its dedicated workshops fosters entrepreneurship through seeding the right thoughts in the young minds early in their life which will align with their aspirations and goals.”.

It is an exciting opportunity for High School Students, Viveck Varma, Co-Chair TYE and CEO, Anaptyxi People Consultsaid. “The course finale includes a business plan competition with cash prizes at the regional level. Winner of the local business plan competition gains an opportunity to win a grand prize of $10,000 in the Global Competition and network with contenders from around the world.” The last date of applications is July 31.
