City-based entrepreneur Polasa Ravi Kumarhas developed an app ‘OK Boys’ to help people travel safely after liquor consumption. The app, which was launched in the city on Sunday, is an initiative to prevent drunken road accidents.

Speaking on the occasion,Kumar said,“This idea was born out of my frustration, when a little girl Ramya succumbed to injuries in road mishap (widely known accident in Hyderabad). AfterI came to know about that incident, I, along with my friends, went to Ramya's home. I was deeply moved by their plight and wanted do something to get rid of those things.”

“The app is also behelpful to differently-abled persons, elderly and sick people and family members of NRIs, to meet their travel needs,” he added. “Our drivers will drive you along with your car or bike to your home anytime, in return for a small amount as charges. Your journey will be monitored by 'GPS tracking to enable you to reach home safely and securely,” he said.
